For one day, we will banish commerce from Falckenbergstraße and celebrate the utopia of an open city for all! Our big street festival with several stages, food, drinks, music and open workshops on June 29 is the conclusion of “What is the City NOW?”: Artistic, academic and educational institutions in the city join forces and show different perspectives on life in Munich in a wide variety of locations.

At 16:00, the "In Ordnung" ensemble will conquer Falckenbergstraße and make the asphalt vibrate.

Nothing we need and everything we have - here's Rares for Cash with ensemble actress Anna Gesa-Raja Lappe and head dramaturge Viola Hasselberg.

blind & lame, that's the actress Lucy Wilke and her mother Gika. Their unmistakable music combines modern guitar pop with elements of gipsy rumba, swing and soul and takes the audience on a crossover journey through the world.

Ciné Vélo Cité is an uncomplicated, improvised open-air cinema and film laboratory. At our street festival, the mobile bicycle cinema shows short films about the city, created in various workshops as part of the "What is the City NOW?" festival. Come along! There will be popcorn!

The music mediator, bringer of people together and music dramaturge at the Munich Kammerspiele Sebastian Reier brings radio back to the (Falckenberg) street.
